Murad Subay is a Yemeni artist, known for his street art campaigns in Yemen. He’s launched five campaigns to promote peace and art and to discuss sensitive political and social issues in society. His most recent campaign – “Ruins” –involved him painting on the walls of buildings damaged by the war, to provide a memorial for the thousands of war victims and to highlight war crimes.
Murad could not travel because of the circumstances in Yemen and spoke via Skype to Hague Talks.
