BIOGRAPHY

Mary Aiken is a CyberPsychologist, Professor of the Practice of Cyber Analytics and Director of the RCSI CyberPsychology Research Centre. Mary is fascinated by in the intersection between technology and human behaviour. In her talk, Mary will focus on the emergent and critical area of children’s rights in cyberspace. Children are being exposed to ‘legal but age inappropriate’ content online, and the urgent requirement to protect children and their rights in cyber contexts, and thereby ensuring a healthy physical and mental development.
