BIOGRAPHY

Admiral Mark Mellett has over 39 years service as an officer in the Irish Defence Forces. He is the first naval officer in the history of the Irish State to serve as Chief of Defence. For over two decades he has been a change leader, contributing to ongoing transformation and positioning the Irish forces in a post-modern setting.
