BIOGRAHY

Tegla Loroupeis a world champion long distance runner from Kenya. She’s won a string of famous marathons, and has broken many world records. In 2006, Kofi Annan named her as a United Nations Ambassador of Sport. She now devotes her time through her own foundation to humanitarian and peace activities. She’s a member of the ‘Champions for Peace’ club, a group of famous elite athletes committed to serving peace in the world through sport. Organiser of the 2016 Olympic Refugee Team.
