“I contribute to a public space, were people can act the way they want to, in a free space that still exists but is limited by governmental institutions. Connecting people, helping them to overcome sad emotions, and to enlarge their happiness, writing a poem as a remembrance of our conversation.”

Sjaak Kroes writes poems that can be received as presents after having conversation with interlocuters on the streets of the main cities in Th Netherlands. He conjures with words, mesmerizing passers-by with his little images of the (extra) ordinary.
