Regina is an activist in the field of violence against women, domestic & gender based violence. As a professor she has been teaching legal courses at renowned universities for 24 years. She is the cofounder, vice-president and pedagogic director of the Maria da Penha Institute in Brazil. There she is responsible for pedagogic and training programmes for volunteers of the institute. As a mother of two sons, she is very passionate about the influence and importance of education and upbringing of boys in the global fight against violence against women.
