BIOGRAPHY

Nabila Namshed was born in India and studied in New Delphi and in Oxford. She is a political affairs specialist in the Government Relations and Political Affairs Branch of the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW)

Nabila will take us with her in explaining how we can turn away from the profitable industry of war. Strategic thinking and planning is the key to this change. She will explain how war is not related to intolerance but based on self-interest and need. Education and development should focus on dismantling the demand for war.In what she calls The war to war, she asks to destabilize the weapon industry by destroying both demand and supply of weapons, and provide alternatives instead.
