As a diplomat, I listen to people and amplify their voices
“As a diplomat my work in South Sudan is motivated by unique resposibility, complexity and human dignity. To be one of the three EU resident Ambassadors and only one of the two female ambassadors residing in Juba, I carry a special responsibility to listen, to speak truth to power and give voice to the voiceless.
South Sudan’s complex challenges require innovative solutions. As a diplomat, I focus on building bridges and creating innovative partnerships for peace. While doing so, I put the people of South Sudan first. They are the core focus in my work.”
