BIOGRAPHY

Margaret Sekaggya is a Ugandan lawyer and academic and is currently the United Nations Special Rapporteur on the situation of Human Rights Defenders. She is also a jury member of the Human rights Tulip, a Dutch state prize for human rights activists that will be awarded on Human rights day, 10 December. Margaret will elaborate on the importance of such a prize for Human Rights Defenders.
