What can be achieved through ten years of activism in favour of peace and reconciliation? Marie Louise Balagizi certainly has an opinion on the matter. She dedicated ten years of her life to this cause, through her organization ‘Synergy of women for peace and reconciliation of the peoples of the Great Lakes of Africa’ (SPR). This cross-border network provides training to organizations and women of rural communities in the east of the DRC, Rwanda and Burundi. Marie Louise also works on the project “Femmes au fone” …
