Jerm (real name Jeremy Nell) is a cartoonist from the northern suburbs of Cape Town. He began his cartoon career after leaving a boring corporate job in late 2005. is work has appeared in the Sunday Times, The Star, City Press, Rapport, Beeld, The Times, FHM, Playboy, Rolling Stone, TIME, Daily Maverick, The New Age, Cosmopolitan, EWN, eNCA.

He has won multiple awards and accolades, including 2011 Vodacom Journalist Of The Year, Mail & Guardian Top 200 Young South Africans and 2012 and The Media Magazine Top 40 Under 40, 2013.

Penguin Books has published two cartoon collection by Jerm, in 2013 and 2014.
