Janne E. Nijman is Academic Director of the TMC Asser Instituut in The Hague and Professor of History and Theory of International Law at the University of Amsterdam. Janne is president of the executive board of Oikos, an NGO focused on fair and sustainable globalization, and member of the supervisory board of Spark.
