Inger Andersen

Executive Director, UN Environment Programme (UNEP)

“I am motivated by the many bold and impactful actions and voices around the world speaking up for climate action; for nature protection and a pollution-free planet. We all know that to get to the solutions, we must have an all of society approach so that we can get the gears into action for the system shifts we need. So when I see young leaders stepping up; demanding change and taking charge, it provides a clear message that  we can, must and will succeed to secure an equitable, just and nature-positive future.”

She lends her voice to influence and shape action on the triple planetary crisis of climate change, of nature and biodiversity loss, and of pollution and waste.
