BIOGRAPHY

Gus Miclat is an executive director and co-founder of the Initiatives for International Dialogue (IID). An advocacy, conflict prevention and solidarity organization based in the Philippines with campaigns and programs on peace-building and democracy in Southeast Asia at large and particularly on Burma, Mindanao, South Thailand and Timor-Leste. Gus Miclat is also a former journalist, editor, university lecturer, theatre artist, network and coalition organizer.
