Ericka has as a personal mission to protect the rights of women. She has a strong background in communications and public policy and has worked on the defense of women for several years, in particular to protect women in a violent situation. She is currently Head of the Womens’ Secretariat of the government of the Federal District of Brazil. Growing up with a stay-at-home-mother, she learned the importance of financial independence and became passionate about the importance of it for women who are the victim of gender based violence.
