Ashwaq Al-Mudhafi jeurney starts when being the first women to be elected to the board of directors of the Kuwaiti Society of Engineer. This was her first exposure to understanding how to interact with and engage in Kuwaiti politics and this paved the road for who she is today as a public servant (one of three women appointed at the Municipal Council for the term 2009-2013) and as a passionate entrepreneur in the private sector. She will shed light on some of the challenges faced along the way and an encouraging and motivating takeaway for the viewers.

Ashwaq Al Mudhaf started her first business in university while being the First woman to be elected to the board of directors of the Kuwaiti Society of Engineers 2007.  In 2009, she was one of three women appointed at the Municipal Council for the term 2009-2013 and is currently a member of the Supreme Council for Planning and Development.  Her motivation and drive come from a deep desire to directly impact the lives of her fellow citizens either through public service or her work in the private sector.
