How to connect business to the global good?

In keeping with its long-established track record of promoting transformational ideas, Hague Talks is proud to announce a special one and half-hour discussion on “How to connect business to the global good”, featuring accomplished entrepreneurs and change-makers from around the world that will take place as the Global Entrepreneurship Summit kicks off in the Netherlands.

We are happy to be partnering with  RVO, The Hague Business Agency, and the Humanity Hub in the planning and execution of this latest edition of the global ideas forum that is Hague Talks. Our speakers in The Hague on June 3 are the embodiment of the entrepreneurial spirit being embraced by the Global Entrepreneurship Summit which is being hosted by the Netherlands in partnership with the United States of America.

ABOUT THE SPEAKERS

  • Ndidi Nwuneli is a change-maker in the area of agriculture and nutrition and has decades of experience in promoting food security in West Africa.
  • Abeer Ali Al-Mukhaini is a young leader motivated by a desire to uplift young women and their families in her native Oman.
  • Christina Moreno is an international law expert who is promoting new ideas that will transform how we view the refugee crisis.
  • Eriko Suzuki is an investor who hopes to encourage startups that have a net positive impact on society to grow exponentially.

Our able moderator on the day is Maria Anne van Dijka ‘corporate activist’ who has more than 25 of experience in the financial services industry. Among other responsibilities, she is currently in charge of Dutch Bank ABN AMRO’s sustainability risk policy. Maria Anne is convinced that companies and banks should – and can – help solve the problems society faces today, such as human trafficking and modern slavery. And that partnerships with other parties play a key role.

So what are you waiting for? This is your chance to rub shoulders with the great and the good of the global entrepreneurship movement who will be gathered in the Netherlands from the 3rd of June.
